In the end, learning another set of keyboard shortcuts probably isn't going to improve your efficiency. I'd therefore argue to bind the new IDE to the set you're used to.
I'd love to hear counterarguments.
This is different from coding in a style of a language you're used, then I of course would argue to adapt. -
Started with emacs today. Pretty cool it is. Enjoying the learning process and finally got auto complete setup for C/C++ βΊοΈβΊοΈ
Perhaps it is better than vim... I don’t know yet π π

@Electrux I'm not sure. I haven't used Emacs much. Sometimes vim on my virtual desktop. I can't really say which is better, but we can both agree that shortcuts are fun!

@byte-me yep ππ both vim and emacs r great... or any editor that u can use to get the work done quickly... just about personal preference I guess π

The hardest part of switching to another IDE is learning all the shortcuts :-(
