App defaults are a constant struggle for me. Like, no Microsoft, I don't want to use your shitty PDF viewer. No, I do not wish to use Edge. And also, shove your Movies and TV back up the shit pipe it came from. I set my defaults for a reason, so don't keep resetting them with an update.

Literally the only I have had has been my PC force restarting to install an update and it just reboots and never actually installs the update.
So I was left with my PC force restarting every 20 mins -_-

@crazyidiot sounds like something is not working correctly for you. When I change the default apps they stay changed.

Undesired installing itself is the same way a virus spreads.

I hear good things about Windows 10. But it's to young for my taste, the kinks haven't been worked out yet. Whereas windows 7 is mature and Does everything I want.
