    Let me get this straight.
    You went and bought a MacBook at some point an now you're making fun of it?
    That makes no sense... unless... you are just trying to appeal to the Apple hate meme... Hmmmmm...

    @Froot
    Hmmmm..
    Or maybe I'm forced to use Mac cause this is the laptop the company gave me.

    @sudani93 Yea... That would also make sense.

    Why the hate tho? Should be a pretty competent machine. Especially since you didn't have to pay for it

    @Froot it's trendy to shit on Macs. I hate Apple as much as the next person. I think their components are overpriced, and their designs are not necessarily that forward-thinking. In some cases, like the iPhone, they're implementing features that Android has had for years. But, my MacBook Pro is an absolute joy to use. Then again, I did buy it used so I don't have that sticker shock.

    @datawraith this is true...
    I recently got my MacBook Pro...
    right off the bat m gonna day it ain’t remotely a perfect machine... things break and things deteriorate but nonetheless, when it works, it works wonderfully and looks gorgeous...

    so at the end of the day, it ain’t ideal, but really nothing is ☺️

    I like my MacBook Pro. It’s small, light, sturdy and reliable. And the OS is as close as you can get to Linux without the struggle of getting your wireless card to work and not stop working after an update comes out.

    Call me a n00b, but I would rather spend my time on my computer working, not fixing my OS.

    @deusprogrammer My kind of guy

    Tho I should note that I use Ubuntu and it has worked pretty well for me. Also I love that I can theme it ☺️

    I've been using a MacBook Air for about 5 years and an old black MacBook for a few years before that. If I could afford it, I'd upgrade to a new MBP mostly because these machines work so well for me.

    Still, with the cost of a replacement, I can see myself needing to move to Linux when the dreaded day arrives and it's time to replace my Mac.

    Although I would never buy a Mac or anything Apple for that matter, I would probably choose one from work.

    I buy a Mac and install Ubuntu with it. At some point, we all need to use Linux. Docker, clouds, ect. The clouds is not a Mac cloud.

    Just go with a hackintosh laptop the only down side is the difficulty to set it up perfectly but one it's done no bother anymore

    @kenpeter I was wondering about this. How is Mac for Linux users?

    @s0nic12 for me. I will be used to it. The brain is amazing that it adjusts itself. Forgot what I am using focus on the task

    @nik123 ...you mean to tell me that shit works now? If that’s true, I will go back to using Linux as my sole OS. Because the last time I tried to install Linux on a laptop, the touch pad and keyboard would stop working after about 10 minutes of use, and every update would render my WiFi card inoperable.
