Her - “NO! It was working when I gave it to you, you fix it. I’m not paying to get my laptop returned broken. It was working when I gave it to you!”

Me - “I’m sorry, but it wasn’t. I literally turned it on and this is what it stated * read her the message*

Her - “I don’t believe you, you did something to my computer.”

    She hung up on me but I missed a call from her a few minutes ago.

    I’m going to tell her something along the lines of “You have two options here, you can either own up to the computer being broken before you handed to me and I can fix that as well at a price or you can take this back and find another tech you can try and sucker into fixing it. But, we both know that I definitely did not cause this”

    Thats why when they tell you smth has to be only installed, you start it infront of them and check, sadly no other way.

    @SauceBoss Really? Gonna give me an ethics lesson after that rant above? Psh. Computer repair people give themselves a bad name. I had no impact on that. I put in my dues, learned a trade that got me out of repairing idiots' computers, and haven't looked back since. Obviously if you're going to repair some ungrateful person's computer, you're not going to go snooping through their shit. I mean what do you think I am? Some kind of monster? I mean literally NO ONE does that do they. -_-
