As the only introvert in my family (parents plus 2 siblings) - anyone got any tips for trying to make them understand?

I'm fine dealing with short, occasional social gatherings, just not the frequent, extended ones that extroverts appear to enjoy

You are who you are and as your family it is their blood duty to respect that and in your case, fuck off and leave u alone. They do not deserve an explanation...

Once I was introvert... Then, one day, I decided to don't give a fuck about the social outcomes or the ideal ways to achieve communication with any different person, and I found myself comfortable with any kind of extroverts\introverts. 🙃

@irene it was a matter of selfish happiness. I can't achieve that if every outer social interaction made me uncomfortable and so unhappy, I thought it was stupid to be unable to overcome the uncomfort, so I came with the "fuck it" rule, which is a matter of switching the overthinking\stressful social phenomenon state from "I care" to "I don't care". Later on, from this choice, I learned that can live and enjoy both of those spectrums in peace, and achieve happiness from being easily able to express both of them 🙃
