Graecus2567yI usually try to listen to playlists of artists/genres I haven't heard before. Because you generally don't pay attention to the song you're listening, but if you do it's usually a good song or a really bad one. So that helps me find great stuff as well.
While I'm designing or doing something that is repetitive and doesn't require focus I listen to podcasts or stand up pieces. It confuses the shit out of my colleagues when I suddenly burst out laughing while arranging a scene or something mundane. -
