Got a job at a great company but I have to move out (I am Canadian and I got a job at Seattle)
How do I say that to my very... "possessive" boss?
Last time someone tries to quit, he threatened to sue them....
(something to do with the NDA contract saying you can't work in a similar job for the next year)

    I think Canadian law doesn't work in Seattle. You current employer can't sue you. If am not wrong then NDA only works if you are binded by the same law.

    Well he isn't a bad guy
    So I can probsbly talk my way out of it and go out on good terms without burning bridges....
    Or I can say a big fuck you and let them burn
    I am the sole sysadmin and they really need me lol

    @Aymen Really? That's not usually how NDA's work...

    I would just say fuck him and go. I guess you could always just lie to? He doesn't need to know what job you're going into. It's none of his fucking business, to be frank.

    @Aymen first you said he was possessive and tries to sue people, then you said he isn't a bad guy... Are you trying to convince us or yourself?

    The sysadmin where I work thought he was irreplaceable. He left a week ago, we managed just fine last week without him and we have a new guy starting next week. Sometimes you aren't as needed as you think...
