# school suck
! coding

hello, hope im not bothering anyone with my adolescent problems, but im really angry towards school.

first of all,
the subjects get thaught much too slow.
like dafuq, why does our maths teacher need 6h to teach us what square roots are? Why does our history teacher need 10h to teach us about one single revolution???

and worst of all: why is everything accompagnied by long, repetitive, homework?

Also, why do they think that im bad just because i dont have the best grades??? im a GOOD average, without learning a TAD!!!

also, here i am, needing to learn maths for some it project.
when i ask any teacher, he doesnt explain it to me but says "you will learn that in class xy"

ok, then i guess i can teach it myself.
but when i take books into school to read em (remember, i already know the subjects), the teachers always take em from me.

also, im not allowed to talk to anyone. not even when idle.

so currently, i am trying not to get angry from this, tomorrow school starts again. after this year legally, i would be allowed to drop out.

could you please tell me what you would do? should i drop out? change school? change class? im open to reolly anything that possibly could help (my parents arent)

    Pull through, get a degree and you'll find a job way easier. Which year are you at currently?

    Home school an option? Or maybe transfer to a talented kids school?

    If you want to teach yourself just make sure you can still pass all the tests with As and the teachers won't be able to do anything as whatever ur doing works?

    I had a IT class in Uni it was so easy I already knew everything. Finals... 20mins done, first one to walk out the of a room full of students. Still got an A... And no I didn't pay attention in class...

    Honestly I think even uni sucks... Read the textbook, show up to class for the final review and do all the HW... Pass

    4yrs of grunt and an expensive vacation away from ur parents...

    Should've gone to a cheaper college...

    well no, home schooling aint an option. as i already said, i dont have As. if i wanted to, id need to learn many useless facts

    @linuxer4fun so they check how you actually came to the solution and need to see their method? Otherwise it's wrong?

    Yes history sucks but you can use it to improve ur memory I guess like those people that can recite Pi to the 100th place..

    I think they use a technique called Memory Palace but I've never really needed that... I just use Google Keep...

    @linuxer4fun "against changing schools" I guess u find one you like and then say you see this is I what I like about it... Here all the problems with the current and how this new one will make them better.

    And you see it costs (almost?) nothing... So why not?

    And there's also the future cost too... If you can show this school make u dumber and suppressing ur potential, and how the other school would help with what you want, I don't see why she would say No.

    Then again I'm from Asian family... Always go for the best option...tho well sometimes it's actually not...

    @linuxer4fun u can show ur mom the test explain to her why this is complete bullshit that they mark answers wrong even tho the answer is correct and she can tell at the principal and put the teacher on the hotspot asking why his method is better and why only his is correct

    @billgates lol, my tests arent always correct. im doingmany dumb mistakes or im just not learning because i dont see how learning 200 latin vocabularys will help me

    @linuxer4fun well avoiding dumb mistakes either you practice more or be more careful.

    Usually for math tests I remember I leave like 10 mins to go over the answers. It's just test taking strategies.

    Learning vocab, not really sure what you mean by Latin, that's ur foreign language?, But it's just brute force..

    Like learning algos and ds... I never found a use for it but had to learn it to talk about the stuff in technical interviews...

    @billgates the problem is that our teachers want us to memorize 200 vecabulary with atleost 5 uxtra infos per week.

    I remember in HS, we learned 20 new words a week

    @billgates lol, 200 were almost not exaggerated. however they are words we already know and have to memordze.

    somehow the others dont fail ://

    @linuxer4fun oh so it's like a 2nd language then? Join a Latin speqking club or built a review bot?

    U remember things better if you have too use them... Unless you automate it away... Which is good too but prolly won't work in your case

    My HS lang was French.... Basically just cram... Now I don't remember much but when I see French text or goto Canada's French areas... I can understand the street signs without Google Translate...

    @billgates Lol... It was almost correct :P

    I hate latin. Its useless. I only learn it because its mandatory in the college that is next to me (5minutes to walk which is quite nice)

    Well in my school and most other schools in my country we have to do useless stuff like picture analysis and we even get it as homework

    @billgates Oh I see, well in case you were wondering whether that is what we have to do, then no, it's in terms of literature, seeing what feelings/moods the colors symbolize and the "deeper meaning" of the picture. Or was it a proposal that I should do so? Because then I'm not skilled enough to do something like that all xD
