Just so mobile devs know for their apps, what advertising platform helped attract the most users to the app for the most bang for your buck? Was it Facebook ads, Instagram ads, word of mouth, etc?

Some Facebook/Instagram ads were good in the very beginning, but since then our best avenues have been:
- TNW article (this was the biggest): http://thenextweb.com/apps/2016/...
- fossbytes article/fb post
- word of mouth

Press has really helped the app grow, but we've been have trouble getting press via outreach. So far all the press we've gotten has not come from any of our outreach, so I don't really have any suggestions in that department unfortunately :/

don't forget, stickers/free swag helped a lot too! @dfox 's hard work paid off! :D
