    I have been moaning about how much better this is for a long time and nobody will listen to me in my org.

    They think users won’t read error messages so we might as well just put “oops something went wrong” for everything because it looks visually nicer.

    I remember the first time I saw this useful error message thing in a computer game. Trying to connect, it failed with error message “baboon”. Still to this day I can remember the error code needed to debug / google the issue.

    Why can’t people stop being ass-hats and just give it a try and see what happens. If it doesn’t improve anything we’ll go back to the original way, big woop
