We need you to support IE7, IE8, IE9, IE10, Firefox, Chrome, and Opera. Also since the customer may one day want to use tablets start thinking about that. And if possible don't break IE6 compatibility.

Tell the client: "Then, we'll have two apps: one for IE people and another one for normal people. Thereby, you can value how much you should spend on us working for each of them"

Or just make the website just a p tag. Supports pretty much everything!

Luckily I was the fuck out of there before that went from request to requirement. You would be surprised how much your life sucks when the part after "requ" goes from "est" to "ired".
