Ubuntu 17.10...

WORST UBUNTU RELEASE TO DATE!

Why oh why did they go with /swapfile by default? I was legacy booting with UEFI enabled and it still didn't work! And don't get me started on nouveau (Nvidia OSS).

When I click "use proprietary software" I want the OS to do everything in its power to just work. Disable 3D acceleration if you must - at least boot to a console.

I'm scared to try it on my main desktop now!

I switched to Linux Mint and I'm happy now, I just needed an instant OS that works. 😊

Maybe I should only run LTS... I haven't always liked LTS though.

I find Ubuntu 16.04 to be plenty good enough, why upgrade? I personally am only staying on LTSs unless something extra special gets released

I'm trialing 17.10 on my laptop, no issues yet but also no noteable improvements, well maybe Bluetooth support is better.
Won't bother upgrading my main desktop until 18.04 or when I can be bothered to install arch...

I've been running Antergos for about a few days and love it. First exposure to Arch. Will need to get comfortable with some Arch things down the road I guess but I'm definitely not planning to go back to an Ubuntu based distro again.

AUR is amazing and loving all the latest software and polish.
