My ANC headphones have clearly lost most of their noise cancelling effect, and now I can hear all the talk in the room and can't focus on any work. Makes me want to yell, SHUT UP EVERYONE! This sucks :(

It amazes me that people don't understand that developers like quiet so we can concentrate.

You wouldn't put your sales team in a room with no phones and tell them not to talk, they are given the environment they need to sell so why not do the same for devs?

I for example do not care much and my former colleague even complained that in his new job he is surrounded by introverts who do not talk all day.
This is more of an introvert extrovert thing imo.

Guess it's time for you to buy a new headphone and go back to the good world

@BorderKeeper I disagree. I am hardly described as intovert, but when I need to concentrate I don't want to be disturbed.

Turned out the cause of the problem might be the USB power. Plugged the headphones to another port and now the charge indicator LED is lit. It wasn't lit yesterday so I assumed the battery was fully charged, yet ANC very weak. Now let's hope changing USB port solves the problem.

@anothercsguy I'm fortunate to live in a country where employers provide for all the gear we need to do our job :) I think it's just fair, and that you seriously need to demand the same from your employers in India. I've heard that some of you guys even need to bring your own computer to work!? Do you have a union or something similar to improve work conditions?

@TerriToniAX Changing USB port didn't help. ANC is broken and I'm waiting for new headphones.
