    I use Vagrant for ~ 2 years by now and docker for ~ ½ a year so I can't really judge that.. i currently tend to docker but that may change in the near future

    They're different, docker runs containers, vagrant runs vms they are similar but not the same

    Docker is more lightweight and is getting more and more popular. Just board the hype train.

    Vagrant if you need vms, docker if you need containers.... I don't see how you could compare the two

    @Codex404 Not really a hype train, it's completely different tech, containers are fundamentally different, they pull from a pool of system resources, VMs will have the host DEDICATE some of its resources to the VM
