Not sure if this counts as a dumb request but:

Customer- There are too many tasks, we need a 'SELECT ALL' button to complete everything easily
Me- sure that's easy to add
(After addition)
Customer- people are completing the tasks too fast! We need to get rid of the select all !

    @AllenII @Alice too little info on my part, the tasks were items that needed to be inspected. Having a button to inspect all items lead to users not taking the time to inspect everything required. Hope that helps :P

    Ok, so invent a "select some" button that selects a random subset. They then have to press it a number of times and deal with each selection separately. Job done.

    @italyguy7 okay, that makes mjch more sense in the given context. But the question still remains how did they not expect that to happen? Easier normally means simpler, faster, or more familiar. A SELECT ALL button is literally all three of those things at once 😂😂😂
