Being 26 learning to code with intention to do it for a living is hard, I wish I never gave up the first time I attempted to learn a programming language when I was 16 I'd probably be making a shit ton of money...

Well, at least you tried back then - you can still make some decent money now.

Nah bro, sell yourself good and git gud as much as you can. Age really means zip and it is better if you learn when you have a clear career path over what you want to do. Whatever advantage you may or may not have really depends on you. So get cranking on whatever tech you like, be wary of impostor syndrome, buils shit and don't let annyone sell you the idea that you should have started young. Sure I started at 18 (am 26 now) but i only started to work professionally a couple of years ago. Get hacking bruh! And if you get stuck ask!!

@AleCx04 thanks for the positive words. I just worry about being turned away for not being some 18-22 year old whiz kid. I know ageism is a problem in the game development industry and hoping this isn't similar. I also just don't wanna feel like it's to late to become highly successful ya know?
