Today I stated to a friend, who agreed with me, that scratch is good until you are younger than 10, after that you need to begin with something real
we agreed on python as one of the best beginner languages (I'm not saying it can't be used by pros, just that it is more intuitive than C/Java/Pascal/whatever for noobs)

I started my coding with scratch, I was 20 😄. Made an arrow shooting game where the arrow tracks your mouse. The game was full retard but it was an interesting challenge (the teacher asked for a much simpler game but challenged me to do that, couldn't leave it 😄)
