wtho837yI also thought about switching to Dvorak for a while, until some reviews brought me to the conclusion that it's not worth it to write .1% faster.
No quick support for a colleague or relative at their machine without context switch on a different level, not worth it for me.
In total it would've slowed me down.
Maybe someone using the Dvorak layout can share their experience. Would also be interested in your. review after some months! -
@inpothet Any chance I could break something?
Also some of the Shift+keys are different, so doesn't work everywhere. -
I could learn Dvorak by touch, but the idea for the overlay is so that:
0) People can look at my laptop and shit themselves over how I'm typing
1) People can look at the keys and type themselves, otherwise they would look at a querty print and type dvorak
2) People respect Dvorak (and the trouble it takes to learn shit like this) -
@MrJimmy The reason we have letters printed on the keys is so that we can look and type. The target is that I'm Dvorak-fluent, and whenever I need to use someone else's laptop, I can look at the keys. I just need to type fast on my laptop.

@okee What (if any) tutorials did you use? I'm using a nodejs programmer's dvorak tutorial (so many dependencies!). Could you give me any other advice?

DVORAK!!!
I have a Chromebook 15 (CB5-571). I'm trying to switch to the beautiful (and kinda weird) Programmer's Dvorak keyboard layout.
I'm using Sway and Arch Linux, so the software side is okay.
But I need to somehow temporarily write on top of my keyboard keys with the layout replacements.
If there is something already out there for my laptop, yay!
Otherwise, I have tac-it (?) and lots of paper.
What do I do?
