donuts236727y@linuxxx yea... More like here you are God... You better know what the fuck you're doing...
-
donuts236727y@Noob uhm...if I remember correctly there's dpkg, yum, or some other app/package manager?
-
donuts236727y@linuxxx it should... it will show an error message if it can't find su.
How did you root?
Can you see all the apps? -
donuts236727y@linuxxx did you install busyBox.. seems like it likes that too.
Actually lots of root apps like it... -
donuts236727y@Haxk20 apparently I don't have it installed either... Just the installer app...
Hm... Guess I don't need it but... -
donuts236727y@Haxk20 yea but it seems the APK n the actually busyBox binaries are 2 different things.
I don't think I need pro to flash a full version of busyBox if I really wanted to -
Noob64607y@billgates oh well, depends on the distro. Pacman and more..
Still, you could argue that there are links to a certain binary. Yet it's indeed easier to uninstall / delete stuff. -
ILMostro2427y@Noob Though, Android is not quite the same, because it's jvm and embedded system; which usually have obvious limitations. New boot methods and partition/image dependencies in Android make it a more tedious process to customize systems. However, this might actually be more stable overall, as long as system changes are carefully planned.

ILMostro2427y@Haxk20 Thank you for the reference/info on apkmirror.
@linuxxx "safe" is a relative term.. Signature checks make it "safe" -
@linuxxx Didn't you flash a new ROM anyways? Why do you have bloat ware on it?
New phone rom doesn't allow bloatware app removal, even at root level.
Root file manager -> /system/app -> remove whole 'uninstallable app's' whole fucking folder -> reboot -> device still works well.
Problem solved.
