It just seems like the blind leading the blind everywhere you turn.
Server management - crap
Work allocation - crap
Project management - crap (obviously ;))
Solutions team - crap
Reviews - crap
Coding standards - crap/non-existent
And probably many more areas I've not thought of -
Only got the job a few months back! But yes, definitely time to move on. Been looking around for a while, just haven't found the right one!
-
how do you answer the question "why did you leave your previous job in just a few months?" questions in your next job interview
-
"The role was unfortunately a step back in both Agile development and opportunities for learning. I'm looking to join a more mature team, so that u can grow further". Or something along those lines 😊
-
Are we working in the same company? ;) hopefully I can switch the team which seems to be a step up.
But I can't answer the "why quit after some months" question in an interview this easily because I'm fresh from university. :/ -
For your sake, I hope not! You can still answer with a similar response to me, just instead of saying it was a step backwards, say something about it not feeling like being the right first step in your career. Pretty much just emphasise that you don't find it normal that you're leaving so early, and that your main goal is to learn
I don't respect a single person at work. I like them as people, but that's about it
