Aside from willing use my botnet browser, I would use another chromium based one since they are silky fast (as long as you have the ram for it) aka Vivaldi
A user here suggested me one browser that was optimized for RAM consuption but I forgot to bookmark it and I cant for the life of me find it and It seems that devrant comment historial is limited so cant go back to that expecific post -
Swarup8727y@Aitkotw chrome is the ultimate one, i remember i tried stop using it favouring Firefox, but got back to "Chromium" for those extensions.
finally After opera supported all the chrome addons, i stopped using Chrome.
But now again, i am reconsidering with the browsers. -
Swarup8727y@legionfrontier i think for lower RAM, firefox is the best, I tested it with some 200+ tabs, worked fine, the test record was some 1600+ tabs i think.
still, i always end up getting away from firefox. -
lotd79227yFor development, chrome.
Comfy with the dev tools, and it's the majority choice of our user base.
Personally, Firefox & midori. -
@Swarup Yeah, Firefox is great for my obscene usable of tabs but is too harsh on my CPU instead and Im currently using a relative shitty computer since I sold my good one sometime ago (yet Im still in debt :/)
-
Swarup8727y@legionfrontier haha, i know that feeling, when you have a shitty computer, only then you know how to get most out of your resources.

chrome or Monument for surfing
Tor for fun stuff ;D (that sounded so wrong)
and edge, Firefox for checking if it works on any browser -
I used to use chrome, but after trying out the FireFox Quantum beta, I switched. Its really nice!
