I'm using my phone nowadays more than my laptop. Can't be bothered to carry my laptop around all the time, and I'm looking at the screen more than enough at work. My phone screen is big enough (6 inch) to do most daily tasks without a problem (reading news, messaging, writing emails, watching some videos).
That being said I'm not gaming, but I don't see what's wrong doing that on your phone as well. -

Well that's actually pretty cool if you ask me. They will be scared of you because they think you can hack their facebook, twitter, whatever account. 😂😂😂

If it's about the Desktop, you shouldn't switch the Distro, but the Desktop Environment. Check out the following ones:
1. xfce (also my choice)
2. mate
3. kde
4. gnome
5. lxde or lxqt
6. budgy
7. cinnamon -
And it feels like 8! :D

I can not answer the first one, since I'm still a student.
But my favourite text editor is atom. Sublime Text is nice, but proprietory. That's why I avoid using it. -
Had this issue too. Just download the drivers and install it... although I remember that I had still some connection errors sometimes.
When I installed Debian it worked out of the box. Still running it on my E470, it works great, had zero problems since then. -
@Lobidu c"out" is used for output in C++

I don't like codeacademy... The Hard Way sounds interesting and is free on the web, I will check that out. Thanks!

KDE is the only DE that I didn't try. Currently running Gnome, although I like xfce. However, I will be switching to i3 soon.

Wasn't that a speach about functional programming in the video? :D

Either you control the program or the program controls you! 😜

This doesn't make any sense...

You know... you can use it from your desktop too... wouldn't break your rule and you will still have fun. 8)

One book that I read and really enjoyed (bringing it back to library kinda broke my heart :( ) was "How Linux works". It's great not only to understand Linux, but also how computers work in general.
The second book I can recommend is "Learn you a Haskell for a great good". It's also available online for free. -
Heh.. I own Grundkurs C++ too... without the ++ :D
