I currently under a contract for almost a year since I'm a fresher when the pandemic was in full swing. I say it depends on the individual. I usually devote time to upskilling, studying if I'm not strong on things and practicing soft skills. I feel most the colleagues I work with seem not as motivated as me or want to learn. I know my current contractor offers me not much benefits and pay. It's hard because I'm passionate on my end. I'm just putting up with it until I can get a better opportunity and my contract is up and do my best. That's my take. I can see the perspective on my end.

I don't even use twitter much since the pandemic. Social media in general I'm not a fan of or keep up with if I'm not using it as a tool for networking. I don't even care much for hashtags if I use them proper that is.

I needed to see this rant, thank you. I'm glad I'm not the only who just can't stand HR. They make my blood boil.

@Axel406 I know, it's just a tongue in cheek joke about open source software. I pay for software to and know it's hard work.

Thanks, I think the GitHub one is my favorite. The other two are i haven't put on my laptop but I know what you mean.

I would say just my love for learning has kept me so far despite some really bad days and hardships. I would be web developing as a hobby of mine if it wasn't for a job or career, right now I'm entry level and always learning.

Same, I sometimes feel I can't switch off my mind or brain after a rough week or night when I feel things aren't a top priority or high expectations from work, job market or some stupid worries.

I needed to see this. I'm new to the platform since I need an outlet to vent and rant about work since it's been stressful recently for me and I'm sometimes shy at times.

I feel your pain. I remember started out programming being scared and anxious coding under the clock or not feeling able to problem solve. I'm glad you got through it. I have several times I did terrible on coding interview hackerrank assessments and challenges in the past months. Sometimes I still get anxious from them and try to study and practice
