That happens to me with Linux mint. Maybe a bad default configuration, it happened also with Ubuntu on the same laptop. It's an old one. The issue is black screen, and no wake up. The power LED is still blinking orange.

@CaptainRant I am aware that it can be anything, but it is so frustrating to not be able to use the computer. Why don't we have at least something showing up what kind of service or application running (or blocking), and have the choice to running it later (and not killing it like the task manager). Sometimes we have an emergency to do something on the PC.
I expected more from a solid company existing for 30 years.
