I often find that when i Stop is precicely when I get sick. It's like our bodies keep pushing to keep up with our everday lives that the moment you decide to take a breather your body's like: "So here all the things you missed over the past nine months..."
-
@spacem needed a working bitbucket server for that which we didn't have...
-
@C0D4 I fixed it (largely) just for you ☺
-
@C0D4 Yeah. I'm not the best web dev. Im using boostrap but I have no idea how Im supposed to ssy when on mobile apply this style instead. I think its @directives, need to souble check though.
-
Ok, its taken me since the original post but now both studioentropy.com and www.studioentropy.com are https!
-
@legionfrontier It will contain projects I plan to release. Can't say much more about it for now, but ill be sure to let you know when there is more to look at. ☺
-
@coolq Cheers ☺
-
@coolq I have 4 other SSD's too. 4 x 256GB and 1 x 500GB in total. I use a lot of high end sample libraries when I compose and using them on mechanical disks makes them unbearably slow...
-
@coolq SSD, 32GB of 3400Mhz DDR4, 6 core hyper threaded 3.6 Ghz intel cpu LGA2011-2. 😃
-
@ignuit yeah, for the most part i think thats the result of the dark or night theme craze.
-
@ignuit haha ita discord. 😎
-
C++ yes?
-
I'm an odd one out here, but I prefer film scores. Particularly the eork of Hans Zimmer.
-
@Alice Cheers! Also thats alot of ++'s haha.
-
@PonySlaystation Cheers!
-
@linuxxx Awesome, thanks for the tip :-)
-
Haha somehow didn't know that you couldn't tag in rants. Cheers for the heads up!.
-
If memory serves, that was @AlexDeLarge talking about a javascript library called autobahn.
Our posts, are actually entirely unrelated haha. -
Cheers @thatdude, cheapest i have found yet!
-
Gonna check that out now. OVH ins't aus friendly 😐

Linq isnt an abstraction, nor is it built in. In fact is not-built-in so much so that the C# extension methods feature was developed to facilitate implementation of Linq to ensure it didn't break existing collections api. But as I said earlier: too each their own :-).
-
Cheers! ☺

Don't push yourself too hard dude. If it were me, I'd let the project run over, and let that speak for itself. When management decides to come down on you, calmly point out that you responsibly requested additional resources and that request was denied. That said I am prone to burnout and this has become my response. Further, the last company I worked for expected me to work 'reasonable' unpaid overtime.... Reasonable to them was often 10+ hours on an already 40 hour week. No time off in lieu (illegal here in aus), nothing, not even a thank you. Just a 'Ima fuck you up the ass sideways with a rusty pitchfork' contractual obligation...

Having worked commercially using java, albeit with the hideousness that is jsp's, and C# I agree that (at least as far as i am concerned) C# shits all over java. But, each to there own. Just start playing with Linq and you'll soon start to tap into the elegant beauty that is C#. :-)

I had a simmilar experience in my first year of uni. I was told i couldn't use arrays in my solution purely on the basis that he hadn't covered them in any of his lectures. I responded in my very 'go fuck yourself please' manner by refusing to attend any more of his lectures and completing the unit with a 98% aggregate.

Cheers!, peeps here are awesome :-)
