You clearly haven't used OracleDb yet.

I went for brown switches because I liked the feeling and they are not as loud as the blues.
Also, because of that choice my gf did not kill me yet. So it was a wise choice. -
@Cystal here, some Hack(er) for you:
https://meinmetzger.de/index.php/... -
@Luwuke well, he still learns something in the progress, for example, how the law works. So it's kinda educational.
-
@sweetnothings well the code assistance in jupyter is nonexistent so I like using the combination I mentioned :)
-
@sweetnothings
You can edit and run Jupyter Notebooks in Pycharm, so you get the good from both worlds. I love it. -
Just as a general hint: to reduce deployment time, you can build docker containers from your applications and easily deploy it to your different servers.
-
Because the PR had more than 10 lines of code changes.
We all know:
10 line PR: everyone finds 20 mistakes
1000 line PR: everything OK -
@SortOfTested well, the email spec also has to work for the intranet, hence t@t is valid. But in the common Internet, everything (?) works through domains, so it is valid to check those.
No need to allow 'a@b' if the dns of the service has no way to get the address of 'b' oO Or am I wrong here? I'm open to input :) -
I started using jetbrains in my first semester of CS studies. My professor wanted us to use Eclipse, I opened it and it was (and still is) the biggest pile of shit I've ever seen.
Then another student recommended Intellij to me and I loved it in an instant.
@frogstair Its not slow on my machine, but if it is on yours, you can disable/limit caching and that speeds it up a lot. They also did a lot of work in the last updates to speed it up.
Android Studio is an exception, but that is not Jetbrains fault iirc. -
Good thing one can automate Google forms quite easily.
-
That's why I always check my tech about an hour in advance. Been there.
-
I am also still stuck with notepad++
I do not like those 'Smart editors' that can do nothing at all in the base and need bloated plugins to work.. (looking st you, vscode and atom).
Well, at least notepad++ does not pretend to be awesome.
And the default keybindings remind me of the jetbrains keybindings hehe. -
@BugsBuggy @ReverendLovejoy
Better, now he can give his employees double the money for one year! -
@molaram My guess, Cod:MW, and it looks like the battle royal mode.
-
@Demolishun the music really is shit. That's why I stick to the 70s and 80s rock
-
Isn't that just because it waits for the hdd cache to clear so all the DAUs do not unplug their external hdd too soon?
-
Let me send you some coffee, my friend. Or tea, probably more healthy.
-
I second tmux.
-
Could it help increase performance of vm's on a hdd? I mean, they can be horribly slow.
Now I have a 7200rpm hdd and the vm's run just fine, but to quote a very wise man: SPEEEEEEED -
@Fast-Nop as I first read your 'does not work doing rollover' I first imagined a clock that stops working when the plain does a barrel roll.. Rip.
-
@molaram well, you'd have to eat from the floor, of course. If you have some spare money for food, that is. /s

So I started a terraria docker server on Monday, totally forgot about it.
It constantly crashed and restarted. 390gb of 'start crash repeat' log files, nice. Just deleted the container, fixed 😂👌
I can't believe I made such a dumb mistake.. -
By so far I have not used a single 'Rest' api that fully implements rest completely or correct.. Most Devs are lazy, implement what they need and call it 'RESTful' or 'RESTlike'. Meh.
Also, management often says 'don't waste time in that, we'll do it later'. Ofc it will never be done. -
Well, if he uses php after finishing his PhD, there must be something wrong.
-
Last time I tried it it was just as broken as Rust, so I lost interest pretty fast..
-
@theKarlisK I hope js is dead in 10 years.
-
@SortOfTested depends on the language, doesn't it?
-
@C0D4 Yes the core docs, but not all libraries. Sadly. But now it works so I'll go back to work 👍😅
-
@C0D4 That would violate the license, sadly.
