@calmyourtities I am not a coder. That's the problem. I began taking python classes but couldn't continue due to my day job.

And this isn't going to be an AI or machine intelligence kind of work. My broker provides with documentation to help convert the strategy into program and map it to fire orders through their servers.

UHD are great I've heard. But never seen one in a laptop in person.

Still I doubt I'd get one. I would rather have a good full HD and good battery life.

Maybe get an UHD for desktop sometime.

@codepoet I have core i5, SSD, 4gb ram, chrome is faster but more takes ram. After the creators update, the system has gotten slower and whenever resuming from (screen saver/screen off after 1 min idle) it hangs up for a few secs before showing the desktop.

I'll be doing a system restore to roll it before the creators update. No useful shit in there for me to use.

Chrome is faster, but will eat 1.5X the RAM

My laptop is 7-8 years old, I don't think it has UEFI. Old school BIOS only.

@tracktraps I've come across lots of people online who say Antergos is much closer to Arch and hence more bleeding edge compared to Manjaro. Manjaro is a little delayed and hence more stable.

If I were experienced enough, I would go straight for Arch, but then I wouldn't be asking this question ;)

Also I found some tutorials, which one of these should I follow to ensure least chances of Windows bootloader corruption when I decide to remove Linux

@tracktraps I have 250GB SSD, and yes I liked your simple method of Windows first, Linux second.

Now C drive in SSD has Windows, I can install Manjaro on D drive. No need for Grub, right? Or do I ?
