Looks like they just reversed the string and then in JS they show the correct address
-
You build a horse in HTML: For you, it looks like a horse. For your client it looks like a dolphin and since you’ve only used HTML you can do nothing with it.
-
This but the marketing manager keeps adding weight, the truck has square tyres the project manager decides to add a second truck and everything is on fire.
-
I Do Ctrl+Shift+Tab instead.
-
My senior designer is colorblind so there's still hope!
-
So you're charging triple?
-
@DevDez I'm sure there is. Also, the user will be more willing to wait if there is feedback from the installation. That high five sounds interesting as a feedback method.
-
Actually, it could be an interesting feature consumer-oriented. The "feel" in "look and feel" is quite important for the user.
-
I just stumbled upon this rant while exporting a video. What a coincidence...
-
@fun2code it depends actually. When I was in college, a gaming laptop was a good option since I was moving along 3 houses (mine, GF and parent's) so it was nice to Play everywhere.
Not that I've settled I can't wait to build a desktop and keep a light and slim laptop for work. -
Check your house insurance. It might cover the broken equipment.
-
@pajaja I always called them "Keyboard nipples"
-
I can talk to my PM in a way he understands me.

Told my crush I liked her. Got ignored for a week then rejected. 6 months after we started dating. It's been 2 years know.
You never know, however, you're brave for telling her your feelings so you should be proud! Don't pity yourself for her rejection and move on with your life. It's the best you can do. -
@devrocket Indeed. It's just about using the right tool for the right thing.
-
JavaScript is the way to go 100%.
Also, when learning CSS, you'll see there is something called LESS and SASS. Id recommend you to ignore less as everyone knows SASS nowadays and before taking it, learn how CSS works.
Also, regarding CSS, flexbox is your friend. -
I see a pattern here... You like Acer, right?
-
@devrocket Still, I was referring to replace a whole picture background that makes the site add 1mb useless data.
-
@bmintz The "always" is the bad advice. Png is great for some things but replacing completely jpg is terrible advice regarding loading times.
-
@itsdaniel0 there are things more important than money. I'm glad you're happy where you are :)
-
Tell your employer about the offer and ask for a raise. If they refuse you can consider leaving even if it's phone. Best case scenario you'll be better paid.
-
Don't worry, your CPU 3 is still green.
-
Omg it's fake. Everyone knows Indian use vegana instead of vagana when asking for pics.
-
@rabbitgears no, and never will. And the client is using that logo at the moment.
-
@chrisrhymes A former teacher of a friend of mine worked for an art gallery to create its logo. She spent quite a lot of time to perform both the typography, icon and shape. The client decided to strip everything except for the title and decided not to pay her. She went to trial for the unpaid job and the judge concluded that "The work should not be paid because it could be done with just a text editor and does not justify the work done". This is written in the sentence.

I like to go <aside> from my PC so I can relax.
-
It seems someone said "Arrays start at 1" when looped the app names
-
As @jschmold said, this is the most important thing everyone should learn in their job.
Our boss forces us to write EVERYTHING into an email. People lie and forget things, emails don't. This has saved us many times as well as doomed us others. -
They're probably using bootleg software.
-
I read somewhere around Reddit at this same image that GPU's that are used for bitcoin mining aren't that much brutalized. The owners tend to underclock them and take care of them in order to maximize their lifespan and optimize power consumption.
I'm no expert and this is just a thought...
