The sad thing is. I do seriously believe there is some truth to it. And thats while i love js(i think its a well designed language for a weakly typed one).
I found myself researching and learning a lot in go and also tinkering with C/C++.
And writing in emacs but that’s another story. -
(Not so engaged) managers in a nutshell
-
I think comparing vscode with vim is not right. ( I personally code in emacs since about a month).
Ofc on a really abstract layer vscode and vim are file editors.
But they both take radical different approaches. (Vim being the better in the long run, imo) so rather then asking how do i make vim do a vscode thing ask: how do I solve this using vim. The above comments provide solutions. -
Im no trying to be rude, but i really do hope this rant is a joke.
-
Dont think it kills running processes
-
I had to read some comments to get me out of that tunnel....i thought you first comment was just a side note at first.....damn
-
Its normal but not healthy but ye now this feeling to well
-
If u are Eu I highly suggest Hetzner Cloud, its the same model. Just a lot cheaper.

@sandeepbalan
Loosing my close friends -
Lmao

But i get the behavior at least for the - since the + is a multifunctional operator in most high level languages for string concatenation while the - is not and js is weakly typed

@dontPanic :DDD

@spongessuck Kotlin is a good example how to make it Right
-
@spongessuck gimme one FUCKING language that makes it so complicated like swift and i forgot to mention all the this or that has been renamed to this or that.
-
@joas thats kinda sad.....
-
@hash-table i think for learning programming Java is very good, just because it is so old.
It has all these old Fashion things, but still does not require memory management etc, i think this rant is dedicated to its prod use for devs who are already familiar with thing like: types, classes etc -
Agree kotlin ftw
-
@sour Adobe Software on linux, yeah good joke and no id does not work with wine and(play on linux)
-
@Awlex kotlin does NOT compile to Java, its compiling to jvm bytecode not java
-
@Liz3 @BindView thats not the kind i mean... java also some inference in lambdas
-
@BindView No its casting dude
-
@BindView im ranting about type inference here, kotlin is a static language but use types only when required
-
@BindView i do....
-
@BindView @jaread 😛
-
@BindView ive been programming java for 4 years, its the opposite, im new to c++ actually
-
@Latsky I have used Windows(XP, 8,8.1, 10), macOS(Sierra) and Linux(Debian/Ubuntu and Arch Linux).
Both macOS and linux(all distros) are way more stable than windows, they do not spam you with there fucking own software(EDGE), or reset them on a update.
They do not send everything you do to the cloud, or make a version of there os where you can only use the build in store(Windows 10 S)
God i hate Microsoft -
Kotlin

@bioDan its actually hardcoded, i was testing some things with bootstrap, its nothing serious, but switching beetwen php, css, html,css was to much..
