A thing that worked for me was booting from the new empty drive, wait for the "press any key to boot from disc" prompt and then install Windows. Seems like Windows installs the boot partition on the drive which it is booted from.

The amount of things you can do can be overwhelming at first, but it's not that complicated. Tbh I find it pretty easy to use.

Can recommend uMatrix instead of NoScript. NoScript allows some scripts by default and bothers you when you start Firefox.

@Condor Did you mean Intel with AMD cards? This issue is as far as I know solved. But yes, the hardware has a huge Impact on performance and stability.
Which hardware to use highly depents on the usecase.

Arch being stable was my impression too. (I think I already said that but with Arch I had the least problems overall.)

Decided to go for Manjaro with Budgie. Works well so far, but that was also the case with Antergos first. Time will tell...

@Linux Interestingly Arch was until recently the most stable distro for me.

@Gophyr @ThaOneDude Some programs need a lot time to start, programs just freeze or crash, system freezes for several seconds etc.
