Yeah all of the sample code and docs are farther down the page. They simplified the whole layout with more content on the page and less in the burger menu.
-
@party101 strange. Looks totally different on iOS safari.
-
According to you, my mother, and a whole host of their people...me.
-
Just call it "user-hostile". They will either not want to appear hostile and ditch the idea or they will hate you to your core and fire you.
-
Nah, air that shit out.
-
@CCTrollz I don't. I'd rather get another machine.
-
Where are you viewing that?

Nope

@KnightsOfCode sure. IOS devs don't have much choice.

MacBook Pro.

So a code base with 250,000 lines and one error really has 62,500,000,000 lines? Seems like that shit could get outa hand pretty quick. Or is "more code" just some arbitrary factor? If so, why is it not just one constant?
-
That shit is intimidating. I've been there as well, I mixed up languages once at Microsoft.
-
@SirWindfield because someone told management, "Code is code. The only difference is syntax and that takes, like no time at all to learn." What sucks for op is that, at least here, base pay between IOS dev and web dev is almost a $20k a year difference.

I went to an iOS Meetup recently and had a recruiter ask me what Swift was. No joke, she was like; "Is it a database? Or more like an os?" Which also leads me to believe she doesn't know what an os is either. Then she gave me a card and said when I was ready, to give her a call.

Automate what they do for a living.

Nerds bought this album. Nerd.

As a freelance iOS developer myself, learn both. There are much more opportunities for a mobile dev than there are for an iOS or android dev. I stuck with iOS simply for size classes.
-
@RazorSh4rk I worked that out about 20 minutes after I posted my comment. I haven't slept much lately.

What's a real dev?
-
Focus on what you know, it's more than you think.
Breath.
Always rely on the process.
Check your work.

There's always money in the banana stand. -
@UnknownDev it's $99.
-
Congrats! I do wish there was more pomp and circumstance when you submit it though. The process to submit alone should be worth a confetti animation at least.

Funny. I just heard about that language last week while watching an episode of Elementary. Still don't understand it's existence though...
