It can be very rough out there. I've had a couple bouts of unemployment and two of them were almost a year each.

Don't have any real advice, you kinda have to just keep at it. Maybe buy a cheap domain and set up a portfolio website. Also these days a lot of places use AI to filter CVs so maybe try find out what all the right keywords are

I've always found the less safe (and often more pointless) a piece of software is, the more fun it was to make

@BordedDev so this morning the company outsourcing me to the company whose client we were going to (yes 3 layers) called to ask me about "What happened on Wednesday"

@retoor Yea I designed that one to be the exact size to fit over the top of the shower. My bathroom's layout can't have a towel rack somewhere that can be reached from the shower.

It's double sided so I can hang the towel on the outside and then cloth or loofa or something on the inside
