This is SO freaking true!!!!
Specifically the 'team player' job description!!!!! -
@don-rager In most of the places it is used for implementing a simple comparator(Just one freaking line), and in one place it is 4 lines!!

@telephantasm Oh I could go on and on
I felt the version control options from intelliJ is much more user friendly, I have tried using eclipse for version control but honestly, I didn't feel it.
The best part is (The game changer for me) IntelliJ remembers your opened tabs for every branch. So if you are working simultaneously on more than one feature and switching back and forth between the branches, it is a neat feature.
And the themes are so much awesome for IntelliJ. -
Go fullstack!! No communication needed !!
Just kidding 😋😋 -
Best wishes for your future!!!

Where can I get one 🤩🤩??

@deadPix3l I get your point completely, but development of a product is not a single person responsibility, or at least where I am now, it is not. So when I am responsible for developing something, I just don't do it. We go through very rigours brain storming session. Only then a new feature is added. So, even when I leave, I am absolutely certain my team will be able to handle it.
Secondly, I have faith in my code that it will be readable and understandable for anyone new. I code because it's something that I love to do, so when I don't get to do that, I am sure you can understand my disappointment. -
Happy birthday 🎂🎂🎂🎂

I really wish ignoring them was that simple, I have to literally spend most of my waking hours with her!!!
The funny part was she literally started throwing tantrum even before I got the chance to introduce myself !!!
What have I gotten myself into 😭😭😭 -
I hope are not going through the files manually. That would be a nightmare.😨😨😨😨.
If so, you can integrate your project with an appropriate code quality tool.
I know it can be a pain to rectify all the code smells at once but if you integrate your project with a tool, it will automatically generate the smells and other stuffs like coverage report, vulnerabilities etc. Then the dev who actually gave the pr will be responsible for correcting it before his code gets merged 😏😏. So less work for you. You won't have to rectify any new code smells. -
@SoulSkrix It would have been low if I had taken credit for the article. But I did not do that. My post clearly said that I found it in #linkedin. The main idea behind this post was to share the environment in major IT industries.
You may have read the article before, but some people here may haven't. So peace! ✌✌😊 -
@noobrants
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Honestly I am noticing now that my avatar has red hair!!!
May be I should have tried pink 😉😉 but not sure whether there is the option -

So that's why I always keep one stable version of node modules as backup and then do shits to my packages.
If everything goes up in flames I will always have something to fall back to -
@coffeeholic don't have that permission. Only tls have that

It's like a measure of how readable ur code is. The code I modified was completely readable!!! Heck I read it right??
