touch-sensitive bluetooth earbuds is pretty cool though, and Siri as a service is pretty unique ("OK Google" is far less personal) to be incorporated in those headphones. I also like the level of polish on the aluminum, haven't seen a metal phone that reflective before.
-
I actually hand-write
printf("My Message/Note/Memo");
because // comments only apply to the dev, whereas printf is open for the world to see. -
Think about it this way: stickers will prevent your shiny new macbook from getting scratched. A little adhesive residue will come off with most any cleaner and a rag.
-
I was actually comfortable with this until I had a good teacher - then I got pissed off that all teachers weren't that good. The taste of the forbidden fruit ruined my desire to teach myself.
-
This post is the closest I've ever been to laptop stickers :o
-
Youtube playlists of glitch-hop, future bass, and electro-swing.

@aspiringdev Wouldn't this be counter intuitive in the age of automated cars? The trends of the economy suggest it would be a poor investment of your time, though a good idea for highway driving of today.
-
Isn't .xip old? Like 1991, MS-DOS 3.3 on a HP 95LX palmtop old?
-
Please don't make more alerts for when I'm driving
-
I'd say at least you're getting contacted through LinkedIn, I'm finishing my last year toward a bachelor's in computer engineering and have never been contacted.
-
Pretty neat tbqhfam
-
This is very vague...
-
Too bad it's just hyper-redundant data, imagine if all of that data was unique!
-
It looks like I actually forgot the tag, most likely because "buy" isn't the best term. If I could edit it to add "buy", I would. @achehab

@SithLord Piracy improves the quality of life for the majority. The equivalent would be one very wealthy man buying a lambourghini, and many poor people copying that lambourghini. The wealthy man still has the lambourghini, but the poor people do too.
-
@h3ll Piracy != Stealing
-
@h3ll Lets say I don't want Photoshop because I don't plan on using it. Oh, but I've found a torrent of it, I guess I'll grab a copy. Now I have paid software for free that I never intended on buying in the first place. You can't categorize that as lost sales.
-
@h3ll Lol you think they don't still live millionaire lifestyles because people torrent their stuff?
-
@h3ll When a man buys a boat, he intends to bring his family, maybe a few friends, with him on this boat. The individual believes the product is worth less than he pays for it, but he pays anyway because he is able to share it's worth. The same goes for torrenting: in a non-negotiable market for products, the user wants to acquire the product, but at a lower cost because it can't be legally shared. Since the market is non-negotiable, the cost is either $$$ or 0, and for many people, that's an easy decision to make.

Recursion can always be made into a more efficient iterative statement. You only run into problems when comverting a recursive definition in one language to an iterative statement in another language, as some very specific cases would blow up your runtime.

This is the quality content I expect to see more of on DevRant.

I always felt educational podcasts were a waste of time because you could watch a video instead. I do enjoy conversational podcasts, though, like Joe Rogan.
-
@Trey50Daniel He couldn't decide that either. He said "maybe RPG maker, but every RPG uses that, so maybe something else. I'll look around".
-
The comments seem quickly typed from how they're written too...maybe this is a workaround to getting the stickers+ball? One guy commenting on his post from different accounts?
-
Fedora if laptop, Ubuntu if desktop.
Battery life. -
Working on swarm robotics with a bunch of other college students. 3D printed the casings, programming their movement currently.

i wouldn't change a thing. I first self- taught TI-Basic in early highschool, then Visual Basic+html+css to discover that I actually like programming, then really put passion into learning C++. Once I felt confident in that, I learned C, then LC-3 Assembly, then other languages, and how to use the linux/Unix terminal efficiently.
-
@Lalike1987 I miss the days of Backtrack 5...Kali doesn't have the same ring to it
-
@haabe which is why I convinced my boss I can be just as efficient working from home 😁 It's not a bad gig, really.
-
I want to invest in a legit blue-light filter for this very reason, but I can't convince myself that it's worth it.
