Copying that PS shortcut is definitely high level shit. Before reading that the weirdest thing I personally experienced was a friend of mine who had a very special way of copying files: He pulled them on the Windows Desktop, made a copy of them (of course using the right-click context menu because shortcuts are for looosers!), then he moved that duplicates into the destination folder and of course he had to rename them there since making a copy in the same place has to modify the file name by attaching "(Copy)" to it. Please kill me later, I still have some stuff to do here.

This is cool, I didn't experience this yet for my code but when I was a child I dreamed about the position of a particular building hidden under the map shroud in a RTS game and when I went to that position ingame on the next day it really was there. So you basically can obtain unknown information so doing it with known things like code is even "easier" for our brain.

My greatest respect @peaam for defending and strengthening your guy. The same for the CEO who kicked that asshole out and came together with you two to personally apologize for his behavior and to heal the situation with a very sympathetic gesture. I hope that "Tom" is still fine and that he became a experienced, skilled and valuable developer.

Speaking about the guy who insulted Tom: I hope he will go to a hell where he is forced to use a PC with an IE8 and a shitload of freaking toolbars he cannot uninstall for eternity. This is the kind of "clients" where I make very clear to them that they are actually on the wrong end of the line to come up with such stupid demands and behavior.
