Just use whatever works for you. Then check on the other browsers from time to time to see what updates they've made. If you're a web dev, it's probably in your interest to do so anyway. Don't have to use what others tell u homie.

Totally feel ya. I was hired as a backend dev to do Django to serve restful API to an iOS app. Client demanded a dashboard, to which my manager agreed, and lo and behold features started creeping in like Lindsay Lohan's drug addiction. Spoiler alert, I'm the one tasked to do it. 6 months later there's still a backlog of features to be done and the iOS app had basically stopped development.

Pro tips: spend a good amount of time creating snippets and short cuts for the boilerplate code
-
:w every time I leave insert mode
-
What about every time you type pubic instead of public?

Deploying on a Friday? Calm down Evel Knievel.

@Jop- yeah. What I mean is that if the length of the hashed password, if hashed, is gonna be the same, it makes no sense to limit the password input form. Every modern framework comes with a default hashing for their user's password. You literally have to go out of your way to make your system less secure.
-
Hmm... if they're hashing your password, it shouldn't matter how long the password is, no?
-
@nickj you're my spirit animal

React
-
@SuryaK Yeah, it has all the benefits of a vm plus more. Way more. And also, it's built for production.
-
Tough when I have a face for radio.
-
You're a good man. Good luck man

Rebuild without cache

@AlexDeLarge G and gg of course. Ctrl+d and Ctrl+u great as well. Learning to incorporate zt and zz too.
-
I configure jk to esc.
But subsequently learned to use ctrl+[ because I use vim on many different machines and servers that I don't have many bindings everywhere.
And also, don't navigate in insert mode.
Soon after you'll realize even moving around using hjkl isn't efficient.
I use '/' , 'f' , '$', '_' , (num)j and (num)k to navigate way more often. -

When you fail design school and somehow got hired at Apple.

I see Vim I like
-
I learned vim the hard way back in school. Forced myself to code an entire assignment in vim. So I'd say pick a kata or a simple project (if you're learning a new framework)
-
Can't hate people who continue to learn new things.

This is seriously one of the most fucked shit I've read.
-
The Phoenix project comes to mind.
-
@Deserter I didn't ask for it. My PM just chose one issue off a backlog and proceed to tell me how to solve it
-
Lol. Simi lj?

And this is how fake code was invented.
