My experience with VS on a windows 7 vm running on ssd was fantastic. It ran quicker than my office machine which ran windows 10.

Oh yeah automation is key. My last job we had no qa and all the manual tests needed was performed by PO. Was fun until the FCA decided to fuck us over.
