@horus so, so... It was a screen capture of meeting where she was yawning.I enlarged the yawn 😁
-
The mobile version doesn't look much better
-
You could try rdp, never did it with a mac, but apparently it's possible

@asgs it's unbelievable that this app is being sold as top noth tech and the boss asks us to call our server provider to ask why her app runs slow
-
@asgs hehe nope, 59 times a list of 186 permissions as supervisor
I gave up looking into it, but my guess is that for each thing loading, a call is made in order to see if it may be shown on screen or not. 🤯 -
Raw Coding, Nick Chapsas, healthy software developer,...

Now NIN's Copy of A... is stuck in my head 👍
-
The worst is a manager who has been in business for over 20 years and still doesn't know shit
-
this happens to me at least once a week
-
Put on a headset while talking to the rubber duck and pretend you're on the phone with a coworker
-
@electrineer That guy earned 3x what I earned and was not stressed. I still somehow feel I don't have enough experience to be a freelancer, but maybe I have to rethink my career
-
@scor belgium 🥳
-
@IntrusionCM I know. I sometimes wonder what hell I am doing here...
-
We have clients complaining that a full A4 text is not readable on an A6 label, so they ask us to use a bigger font 😳

Also:
4. If your only attempt in solving your problem are thoughtless copy/paste actions from so, don't bother me -
@PonySlaystation Don't forget inefficient management and unreasonable time frames
-
@PonySlaystation In March it's one year anniversary, then I will flip the table 😁
-
@PonySlaystation Nope, junior doing senior stuff takes longer, so... 🙁

@PonySlaystation
No docs
No unit tests
.NET 2.0 and deprecated nugett packages
Microservices w duplicate code all over the place
Micromanagement w/o planning
No IT'ers, network specialists, or helpdesk people for +50 clients
+ 500 open bugs for +20 projects
Fun, fun, fun.... -
Indeed a mix of the two is best imo. While wfh makes me feel more productive, that feeling doesn't last long, because I also feel trapped in my bedroom/desk for appr. 16 hours a day/night
-
That's not a joke
-
@bahua that's exactly how I would do it if I was in charge
-
@sariel I don' t even have full access to the server and if only I knew anything of those old projects, I could ask those updates to the IT department of the client. It's databases, reportservers, services, and what not... Now it's trial and error. And above all, I'm a junior dev who hasn't written a line of code for 3 weeks now because of shitty tasks day after day 😡
-
Daily routine here, in a company pretending to be on top of tech 😶
-
The comic is so true
4 hours far on monday:
Emails: 17
Closing tickets of supposed bugs that turn out to be stupidity of clients: 12
Phonecalls: 6
Meetings w manager: 2
Lines of code: 0
In 5 minutes we have stand up 🥳 -
@asgs there's no agreement whatsoever, only utter chaos all over the place
-
@Lucky-Loek I looked forward to experience them playing on dec. 12 in Brussels, due to new covid regulations it's now moved to nov 2022 😭
-
Yesterday: Heilung live (helpdesk support)
Today: Charlotte De Witte sets (development)
Tomorrow: Gojira (meetings) -
@rEaL-jAsE no, he wants spaces
