When using smart restrictions that result in passwords that are harder to programmatically guess, no.
The idea behind restrictions is to enforce a mixture of letter casing, special characters, and so on is that you arent allowing users to just type dictionary words all lower case into your password field.
This at first thought, reduces the number of combinations, but really it just removes the bottom of the barrel possibilities from occurring in your password store. This raises the security bar overall.
Let us not forget salting either.. -
@devlprWtDhel I share your struggles. :) imminently, in fact. Your power as a developer includes speaking up to the product manager about said lacking, and make it a priority for the group/company by analyzing and illustrating the repercussions of letting it fall to the wayside. Fight the good fight, mate!

In the four companies I've worked for, I've _learned_ that product documentation is not only necessary, but requires developer involvement, and the lack of it leads to a greater workload for support due to users that don't have the resources (documentation) to answer their questions. And guess who support hates when there's no documentation? Developers, because we don't have time to handhold support.
Don't hate on documentation. -
Try having kids.

@KrupaH I just looked at it finally....after the initial hyperventilation, I chuckled at the browser identification at the bottom(heh), the bandwidth measurement(lol), and they claim a department "maintains" it. 😂
glad you're fixing that mess. -
previous comment redacted. you're a brave and fearless woman.

sure. worth the learn, but Go isn't meant for being an installer script. Its inception hard far greater designs in mind. that's why we have bash, python, and ruby.

Try working for a Dutch company as an American. you're smiled to, treated nicely, but will never never be treated with the respect you deserve, nor granted any opportunity unless you somehow become Dutch.
source of implication: am American. worked for Dutch company.
the travel benefits are amazing though. 😃 -

Judging from your progress bar, you spend a lot of time sleeping. I'm jealous. But then again, some of my best code epiphanies are during bouts of insomnia.
