I had a similar sized B.B.net form. I spent about good two weeks to refactor it down to about 6k lines. It was surely worth it.
-
@stisch I finished my part of the project and was to integrate it with those of others. No work done.
-
I was solving hackerrank questions. Most their input requires no space on the left of the input.
I usually paste them as a comment in Main so that I can copy and paste it easily without internet connection.
But VS keeps indenting it -
My brains is throwing massive exceptions. I can't process this!
-
@killermenpl oh very lightweight site. It looks likes it doesn't look complete but works well and faster. Thanks!
-
+1 for the wallpaper!
-
I hate the fact that SpeedTest.net still uses that outdated technology...
-
@dfox About and hour from door to door. I stayed late, got more work done and now I am feeling great at home 👍🏻👍
-
@rangerus46 Not sure what Yerba is but mate, I say it's a tea even though not technically so 😎
-
@OOPMichael Awesome. Especially when you have a cold!
-
You deserve yourself a ball
-
@Jumpshot44 since I am not disciplined to work alone, I am actually starring into screen blank. Harder to focus....
It's funny that I don't have that problem at home. -
What was "her" way of doing things? What was the question?
If I were to play a devil's advocate, I can understand her position somewhat.
Suppose that there is a question asked to use a while loop but you used a for loop. If the question was to test your knowledge on while loop, then you shouldn't get a full mark.
I am just trying to see if that is the case. -
@jallman112 @btfoom thanks guys. I feel much great nowadays and best of all my right knee stopped hurting when I take stairs!!!
-
I gave up on this clunky IDE and went with IntelliJ IDE since I have a full version of JetBrains license
-
I say that's an over engineering.
I prefer simple
echo "ho ho ho Merry Xmas". 😉 -
@nickhh it gets harder but not exponentially at least so I said logarithmically;)
-
@kyleperik You are right. In a sense my unit tests are not truly unit tests since i am not mocking out external resources.
-
@garrettw it was an API from this site i was accessing. It provides a very minimal amount of documentation and I have to keep track of the changes by going to the site...
I only found out the change after someone reported the break on GitHub -
@LicensedCrime it seems like when you get a raise you don't get bonus and vice versa in the company I work for.
-
@TylerDDevRant no. I am from US.
-
Same reason I don't use "teh" , I mean "the" as part of variable or a method name.
-
Don't take a vacation when you are burned out! It will make your vacation a living hell all preoccupied with the reasons for the burnout.
What I do is just push myself a bit further and take a vacation when I still have only few things left to finish.
When I come back My thoughts are all sorted out and ready to tackle the remaining issues with ease. -
It depends on your purpose for teaching the new person.
If you are trying to hook him into the dark side, then something flashy as creating game would do by showing him step by step to creating one.
If it's going to be purely academic, then go with teaching him/her with C# and OOP concepts as well as data structures.
If it's for a hobby, I say start with skills necessary to build a website. -
I can't tell from this angle who's holding whose "ball"...
-
I have two under, one on top
-
I've had a similar problem a few times. Quite weird how the query optimizer works
-
@angel thank you for the awesome link 👍🏻
-
@h3ll I've learned recently that as long as you can get the job done effectively and efficiently, tools you use do not matter much.
-
When you put that into that perspective, it sounds quite impressive 👍🏻👏👏👏
