Hi, there's plenty of resources on the Web, look for it. What would you like to build? More like websites, or local computer programs? Programming is quite awfully large in the sense of variety of tools, so in my opinion, making sense of what you need it for is essential to know what tools to recommend.
Oh and have I mentioned books? Yea, some people say books on programing are useless, since they go out of date almost immediately, but there's still a whole lot of people who love them. You might want to look into it -
