@ElectroMantis Depending on the Build environment (IDE, Build Tools etc.) and the selected language(s) the gitignore might grow fastly. Have a look at the gitignore Repo at GitHub. There are some quite long gitignores. And maybe it also has some comments, empty lines etc.

@C0D4 so how do you let apple.com resolve to the host you are using for your cert generation? didn't you need to add your A-record to the DNS server of apple?

I had something similar. On a site I am administrating I replaced a header banner. Previously it has been green, now it is blue. I hadn't renamed the file and so most browsers still used their own cached version (there are also some mystic caching header set ...). But this leads to some funny questions like "Why is this blue on your machine?" - "It's since three weeks ..."

@sick hmm? I don't get the point. Why is this important? The certificate the site uses will be delivered by the sites servers, not by Let's Encrypt. The only time you need LE is when you (re)new your certificate (at least every 90 days). The root cert is part of the trusted browser certs.
