First big error at work is let everybody think you are doing fine, understanding everything or without blockers, when you are clearly not.
Pretty sure when you'll run into a challenge or a complex situation, and they figure out you are not in your 100%, they likely going to ask you why you didn't tell in first please about these blockers or push backs.
Please, let you team/coworkers that you are having difficulties, pretty sure they are going to help you more than everybody here to achieve everything.
Maybe the company can help you with a few intensive French clases to improve more every week and make your process less painful. -
@Fast-Nop you don't seem to understand how a Web API specification is made and what it takes to implement it.
That's probably the main reason why people disagree and rage about something, because they don't understand how it works. -
@snaz how can your company still going being on fire 25 hours a day for using Angular 1.x?
I'm curious now. -
If you disagree with them for not shipping things at the same speed of -only ego- companies, that's fine. However, Mozilla is one of the few companies that still cares about whatever is going to be ship to web, is the same a fair for all.
Even Apple is good compared to Google when it comes to push things to the web and their attitude to the users. -
@Fast-Nop "not to mention that Mozilla failed to be on time for the APIs"
whoa keep going giving shit to Mozilla without context about how and why they do their things in the way they do it.
Chrome is always the first to implement whatever API they think is good for the web for two reasons:
1. They have the money to pay the amount of Engineers to be first one to implement whatever thing they feel they want to.
2. They don't give a damm cent about other browsers or the web in general.
They push APIs that are not standards because they have the largest part of the market, so they think they can decide whatever is good for the entire web.
So, if took for Mozilla a year or two implement the Web Extensions API that's because that time was the necessary to create an standard for all the browsers. Not because they didn't want to do it before or just didn't know how to do it. -
Getting a professional/career degree would matter in the Software Development market if you expect yourself move to another country because working for a company is required. If that's not your plan, you're good to go.

Pretty sure it's San Francisco.

I'll give you my two cents. I don't have problem writing without looking to the keys but a while ago I changed my keyboard to an Ergodox with blank keycaps.
So, how it felt at first? A complete madness and had a big impact to my workflow.
The solution? Use it to type on desktop chat apps, and use it more for non productive tasks like everyday web browsing.
The Ergodox is an Ergo keyboard as the name suggests, so check some hand postures while typing, your problem is probably the wrong use of fingers for each key or bad resting posture using the keyboard.
Writing without looking the keys is mostly about the hands in one confortable position where you can reach them everytime in the same position.
If you are looking a website to train, I used typing.io
Hope this is useful -
The worst part about this is watch someone use sudo with npm.

"Someone change my mind"
What about no. -
Have you tried uninstal Ubuntu and installing Gentoo?
-
Check out about the Impostor Syndrome, maybe you are not a bad developer, you are just experiencing hatred to deal thoughs in the current Tech Industry.
-
Ubuntu and Debian giving you all those problems? Sounds you need to try Gentoo ;)
Thank me later :* -
That's not how the entire education system should be? Not only for CS in my opinion.

You know that you could freeze the version of the tools or deps in your project so it won't broke with latest updates, right? In the worst extreme case you fork it and modify it to your own settings
-
Congratulations, you crashed yourself.
