@billgates because there's a thing that says lift here and I'm curious and lifted and saw a bunch of lint. Every dryer has it, and if I don't know how to use something there is YouTube and they'll point it out
-
It's definitely the struggling part. Getting hardware to work on Linux is hit and miss, so if it fixes an unusable thing people will love it
-
@j4cobgarby remote accessing Linux servers, or a habit of calling plain text editors notepad.
-
@SgnfcntOverflow it's been in the app for months before they even implemented sorting. Even a few third party apps have it
-
@woops it's not something you can forget. You hit plus to make a new post, then it automatically makes you pick one of these buttons. You can't even type before you do -_-
-
@woops when you make a new post, it asks you to pick a category for it. That's what I'm talking about
-
This isn't a rant, it's a meme. Please categorize better in the future :)
-
@seaskyways meh. I'm not trying to create a compiler here, I'm making silly web games. Works well enough for me :)
-
@TomRiddle drop the semicolons and use functional programming, it becomes quite pretty imo
-
@ewpratten I think account project took that name since then
-
@athlon meh. Just use JavaScript. Deny their claim and if they take it to court, the EFF has your back. It's been in too much use outside them, and none of the current implementations are by them, so it'll be an easy case
-
The actual name, ECMAScript. Since it's the the definitive standard, user it. Call it EScript or ES for short
-
@DevNullStdin with that memory you get the best intellisense in the business. It keeps everything cached that it can for your API and working environment, it's bound to get bloated by big ass drupal
-
@jhh2450 that's not how natural selection works lol. It's not like there's a tournament with rounds and shit. It's always happening. We're all what's been selected this generation :-\
-
Dude, just take the plunge. So baby services is that avatar, you don't even need to really use the WordPress account
-
@aritzh I second this. Should be able to find an old mirror
-
@bahua no such thing as a "non-word". English lives, it changes, and if people use a word it becomes real. Dictionaries evolve with it and are merely a collection of common words and definitions, not "the definitive list of the only words in the English language"
-
Make it's your area and/or your tech stack. It could be that those two are just not compatible, so you might need to change one or both to land a better job. I totally believe you have the skills, that's why I'm subscribed to your rants, so it could be that.
-
I mean, did you expect anything that made sense to happen with that nonsensical expression?
-
@billgates dude, that's dumb as hell. Good luck man, and take care of yourself.
-
At least the finally got it done. Fuck that nonsense man, office politics are dumb
-
@inaba eh. Might come with a $6/hr raise if we play our cards right, so I'll do it gladly :)
-
@sslPoodle the compiler will do it in two parts.
n = n++; -> n = n; n++; -> n = 0; 0++;
Ergo, N will increment anyway. -
I don't even get .5MBs. Fuck off.
-
@haithamSboui that's a user setting. Maybe it's two by default, but it isn't the only option.
-
@billgates it's around 75 pixels per inch at a good distance from your face. The Google pixel 2 is like 441 ppi brought up next to your face. Retina is a marketing bullshit term, doesn't mean anything. TVs are usually meters from you, so the smaller ppi is made up for by the fact that your vision gets less sharp from that distance, but phones don't have that luxury. 4k just means you have a ~4000 pixels wide screen, that's all. A small screen at 4k is gonna be crazy expensive and be super sharp from up close, but a bigger one ain't.
-
@billgates portability and size. Being that miniaturized makes them super costly. The ppi isn't even close

https://play.google.com/store/apps/...
If it doesn't load, you can't install it. -
@stop it was in the repository already, just had to apt-get. That's why I switched from Solus, which would have required compilation.
-
@arcadesdude and if what you say is fucking useless for what they NEED to understand for whatever reason, you're an asshole.
