@kamen I believe I put it there to test something in the **very** early stages of writing it and forgot all about it.

I don't like this "There's always something that's better and open source" because the truth is there isnt. There is some software that has no open source companion that is of equivalent quality.

I don't know what your budget looks like as far as money coming in to money going out, but a word of advice. Eventually this will most likely come down to one decision: do you care more about that company or having a place to sleep and food to eat? I know which one is more important to me.
-
@Orionss you're right. Ubuntu switched over to Gnome.
-
@gurumeditation wouldn't the screen need to detect being touched though? 🤔
-
@haithamSboui it should be taught during that time, but isn't always. For example, as far as I know, there's only one class in my entire CS program that teaches Git and it's an elective class.
-
Wow, nice way to leave your coworker who obviously had never had to use git before hanging when he might've needed you.

Don't use Avast. Window's Defender is a fine antivirus. Not super super good, but most likely good enough.
-
Eh, they're right. One of the main rules of SO is don't post an answer that's just a link. Answer the question in your answer and link to outside resources as a supplement.

I haven't gotten to use TypeScript yet, but with my main background being in C and C++ I have to believe it's like the land of milk and honey.

Check out Qute Browser. It has vim style key bindings. You could also go with lynx if you want a text based browser that you don't have to leave your terminal for.

Maybe she's the one causing part of the problem.
-
I don't. As to why, well, you see there's this thing called Vim.

Or, and hear me out here, you could not devote every waking moment to developing and instead live a little.

Dark Souls is amazing; you'll never regret buying it. The best feeling I've ever had in gaming is overcoming a difficult boss.
-
Why not just run OSX in a VM?
-
Those are rookie numbers.
-
I don't mind using Windows, but that slow ass fading in and out hipster bullshit is the one thing I hate about it.
-
Just finished setting up my own Manjaro VM last night. I'm excited to see how the Arch ecosystem compares to Debian/Ubuntu.
-
@romangraef I was actually just about to come back and say this. You're right.
-
@Mitiko probably echo __insert the text in the box__ | lolcat | cowsay with some flag to specify the Tux art.
-
@tkw01536 oh, I thought you meant you physically told someone that you use Linux and didn't specify the distribution. In this case, to hell with them for not having a text box to specify distro.
-
Isn't this your fault for not specifying what distribution you're using?

Working on something involving Pokémon?

If you're anything like this rant makes you sound, then if anything needs to be fired it's your ego honestly.

Go to your campus library or another public place to study. I know it may seem counter-productive, but it's way to easy to distract yourself if you're in the comfort of your own home as opposed to a public place.
