@eeee I have something to think upon...
I am very academical in nature. I do love my major, I felt like home when I stepped in first. Worst thing: seriously, ADHD, wtf. I tried some of that self help stuff to go through. But focus doesn't work anyway. Tried medication too, but here you have only two options to choose from and if they don't work you're basically fucked.
I don't know if dropping is a bit like letting my illness win or if this pause can be productive (also having the option not to start in in second semester would be good.....meaning, next academic year I could start right avoiding to be "late" and having to). -
@iAmNaN May I ask why they are the worse? Mostly curiosity though. I heard about thing called seasonal affective disorder and since you mentioned a specific season, winter time, which is also the worst in general because less light and sun exposure, temperature drops so you're less likely to go out and so on, I also read that scandinavians get more depressed because of this thing, more or less...

Second class here is akin to travelling with crying babies at full volume in your ears, being poked by bags someone every few kilometers, sometimes they fall on your head directly. Pray any god for them to contain soft clothes. Best scenario you are late, worst case the train is in a fire.
The latter thing is true also for city buses.
The only thing that works is the subway... -
Changelog: added "fellow struggling mates YOU CAN DO IT"

@HollowKitty very kitty much cute. would totally click and updoot again. ++
-
MasterCard and shit similar to that is just insane.
About the video, though... Man, I can't listen to one realistically saying "sjw" like that meant something without rolling on the floor. Especially when the things come down to "they're attacking us!1? Only because we have our own ideas!1!!! Orwellian nightmare!!1" It's pretty entertaining since they seem to accuse others of crying wolf everytime.
And the people he defends.... wtf? Even worse dude. Also: "progressive hoes". And you wonder why they take the banhammer on your head?
I'm not into censorship and you know why? Exactly because it gives breath to the mouth for everyone and trip someone into believing they're being targeted even if no one cares about their ass. -
Annamo bene... 😅
Sorry dude, italians gonna be italians -
My rants get a bit esoteric, anyway I just realised I made at least three lines of insults so strange that made @AlexDeLarge confused. I should be proud?
-
@AlexDeLarge this one wants me to develop a shitty cryptominer plugin for his shitty site totally unrelated to crypto by the way, and it was not a mentioned before feature (?) so I guess it's a brand new idea out of nowhere. And now I get "you are a genius you can do that in a couple days" WTF
-
@julianmd I had the hugest panic attack ever and literally couldn't move my ass out of my home even if someone drugged me and the dragged me directly to the interview place. Catatonic state. 🌠
But I have to say that even if am fucked up in mental health issues in general I don't react so badly. I do if there is something not so good, like a need went unnoticed that I have or something like that, an alarm of self preservation. Indeed it was a fulltime position paid like shit even for junior standards. Good luck holding such a shit position in my condition, bye bye -
Oh fair god, when people write things in the way they pronounce it. RUN!

Awesome wallpaper :D

@linuxxx I make awesome compliments pretty often on physical appereance of someone regardless of whether the person is someone I'm attracted to, and this is the case. I know they seem avances lol but I just feel that people deserve some love especially if they feel wrong in some way. Anyway, I'm bisexual. You got it almost right 😊
(It's pretty weird if you compare this with the fact I hardly say compliments, in general. But I guess the rarity of them makes them more meaningful, somehow). -
@linuxxx HOW CAN YOU. If it wasn't completely inappropriate I'd ask for your email& pgp key on the spot. I mean, you really believe you're not good looking at all or are you just insecure? O.o
I would bless the heavenly clouds it I met some average italian half as beatiful.
(Ok. Now the whole devRant knows I have a crush. LOL) -
And if you don't believe me, just perform a social experiment and check out how many guys on Grindr ask for moar pics. It's not that you're not good looking, it's that you probably attract the wrong persons (if het) and they know it so they don't say anything irl 😆

"Between science and poetry: interdisciplinarity as the driving force of progress".
«Poets say science takes away from the beauty of the stars - mere globs of gas atoms. I too can see the stars on a desert night, and feel them. But do I see less or more? The vastness of the heavens stretches my imagination - stuck on this carousel my little eye can catch one - million - year - old light. A vast pattern - of which I am a part... What is the pattern, or the meaning, or the why? It does not do harm to the mystery to know a little about it. For far more marvelous is the truth than any artists of the past imagined it. Why do the poets of the present not speak of it? What men are poets who can speak of Jupiter if he were a man, but if he is an immense spinning sphere of methane and ammonia must be silent?» -
And this is the book I'm currently reading

Here's the map:

I laughed very much when I reached the sticazzi part, my fellow citizen 😂
-
@brano88 which takes to the question: which brand served you best? :D
-
@starrynights89 I guess so. I'm specifically ranting at their consumer products, especially those sold under 400€.
-
@AleCx04 it doesn't even have an ethernet port. Holy cow if you are even thinking a thing that connect it must be "mind reading" level connectivity if you ain't gonna put an eth0. Imagine how funny was realising having to re-establish internet connectivity after you successfully completed installation of a distro that apparently didn't have suitable drivers. It's even funnier when you know which distro was. The fucking Ubuntu itself.
-
@electrineer that lecture (I don't know the right term, but as it's pretty much educational, I use this one) is exceptional, and I don't hand down compliments like thrown candies - at least when I do I speak before I really appreciate the work.
I would say that's the case @crissupissu, I'm hugely perfectionist and the hyperactivity is quite much a blade in the heart of something that doesn't have instantaneous feedback and appreciable, good result.
But it's also that I feel alone. Everyone around me seems full of knowledge so i feel a bit out of place. I learn a lot socially and without a figure I can speak I have anxiety. Just to give an example, for years I did bad in math, then came a bunch of professors radically different. Grades skyrocketed. It was sufficient to lend me a hand, then I flied with my own wings.
I would like to hold another hand. -
I can't deal with the "lazy" label. I mean I have some limited energy I'm gonna put it in vital necessities. Is that so strange?
-
Totally offtopic image of metal gear slash because it lessens bad mood. Plus Otacon is my coding hero. So yep here it is.
-
@ArcaneEye I had a good laugh :D
Thanks to everyone 🌈 -
Thanks everyone especially @devTea, that's good advice. I'm crossing fingers 🌚
