Yep, just leaving Devrant for a while :)

Golden age of monopols. How little is enough to bring down half of the internet.
-
No need to use shitty date/time libraries in JS anymore
-
I also wish humans didn't have a single core CPU
-
@homo-lorens maybe they changed it since nightly, I didn't update yet

For anyone interested, there is a pretty much fixed CSS for the new FF theme: https://github.com/black7375/...
-
No border-radius, but paddings. They are huge. Even the compact theme (which is now not officially supported anymore) is 10px higher than before.
Another thing Firefox designers really fucked up is the absence of icons. Reading text is much harder than simply seeing the icons. Also the hidden mute button is absolutely awful UX. -
You definitely can't learn Rust overnight especially if you are coming from languages with dynamic typing. But if you have some experience with let's say C++, it shouldn't be too hard (as long as you didn't write shit code and you know how memory works)
-
You can try the thermal pad mod so it performs the same as Pro (considering you have the M1 version)

/home/lamka02sk/Music - legally obtained music (also a lot of it, might also be over a year worth of content)
/home/lamka02sk/.local/share/Trash - If I move something to the trash, I usually take it out right away
/home/lamka02sk/Downloads - A synonym for Trash, a lot of stuff I can probably safely delete, but I am afraid to
Basically, just name things properly, give it some hierarchy (aka. don't dump everything in a single folder), and you will be fine... -
I am not sure if I would benefit from having my folders numbered. When using file manager, I mostly just type first letters of the folder and hit enter, so the benefit of having the folders numbered would be very minimal and maybe even negative.
This is pretty much how my disks are organized. I am mostly using the directories made by system except folders where my code and programs live.
/home/lamka02sk/Code - my programming projects and work stuff
/home/lamka02sk/Programs - other programs either compiled from source or dowloaded binaries
/home/lamka02sk/Documents - this was a place to store my ideas, documentation or invoices, synced to my Nextcloud. Nowadays, I use Trilium notes for documentation and ideas (or Samsung notes if it is hand-written)
/home/lamka02sk/Pictures - screenshots and wallpapers
/home/lamka02sk/Videos - legally obtained copies of TV shows and movies I would like to watch at some point (there are literally years of content at the moment...) -
Do you work for devrant?

Recursion is the one and only thing Oracle actually excels at
-
No. (2)

In my experience, stupid things are !important in CSS
-
My country doesn't even participate anymore. I am honestly not surprised with all the trash music produced here...

I don't think you need an ergonomic keyboard. Especially not for programming. What you need is a good wristrest, so your hands are as straight as possible.
-
What kind of crap is that?
Also why Chrome? -
That's what nginx -t is for, smartass!
-
@nanobot I was the replacement for the guy who made the commit, so he wasn't working with us anymore. I am not going to comment on the second guy, because he doesn't exist.
-
And hopefully it will copy all that crappy formatting to your beautifully written email...

Updating Linux with nvidia driver is the same as Windows.
-
More precisely his work from 2015 onwards is shit
-
bintray shut down on may 1st
-
I hate writing Apache configs so much. What you fit in 50 lines of nginx config, you fit in like 200 for Apache...
-
You can just rewrite the modules one by one :) you have forever to do it
-
hm.
-
Wow, such bullshit. Run

"Hi, are you here?"
"Yes"
