whats wrong with rest?
-
yeah too bad you cant use them in production
-
and just you think you know it.. child container has margin outside parent and you realize there are no rules in css, similar to no spoon.
-
perfect.

@BindView Yeah you can do everying on js because its based on fcking js. else how could it even work. Its about optimizing client experience. Please show me the same speed of dom manipulation in a large app you write from scratch. It offers you lazyloading, caching out of the box,... Its about using things that were 1938791x tested in a production enviroment. its about using the same thing as millions of developers use so code can be shared and ideas implemented. the ammount of code there its for a reason. if you think you can optimize the code and its size then i think google would love you to join them. angular is based on large applications and saves you fuckload of work. If you plan to use it for a single ng-repeat then its not anngular fault but urs
Dont shittalk peoples hardwork because you are one od the knowitall arrogant coders. Fuck it. Go hardcore. Go reinvent the wheel and place it on ur car, or even carriage. -
@BindView whaaat?
-
if u use angular and not angularjs, you can use properties in view as obj?.property
-
@withoutajob how can you get different visuals on a chromium based app?
-
me 2, me 2... love the editor. makes me sooo muchmore productive..
-
rly soon moving from 5.6 to 7.1 in prod. lets say im not looking forward to it
-
make gulpfile. babel and minify it. and the give it him

@pain0486 what i mentioned from js standpoint was the app way. Starting point for what i wrote was that you serve data from a REST service. Because its a standard nowdays because then you can implement same service for nativr apps. And because if its a REST service app you can give the rendering part to the js because requesting jsons and creating views from js reduces the size of responses and automatically makes app lots faster than serving views from server. Idd you can still serve views from server. And for the polyfill part.. there is a lot missing from IE 9 even.. which you cant just skip because lots od state companies have it as a standard on their "high tech" "machines" ( pls detect sarcasm) I dont even think promises are supported out of the box.. or even Object,.. dont know every because i boilerplate template that get rid of this annoyances...

whhhhaaaaatt? ok for ur hobby/learning yes i encourage this because i love coders who know what they do instad of stackoverflowing functions in libs. but once you get in production gl with that. make whole app using vanilla js. that means handling singletons/events/view change bining /....../..././././. on ur own. Making every component unittestable. Then putting everything togethet and e2e test whole thing. Font mind ur own polyfills to support older browsers.
Ok lets focus static pages instead of apps. Here you have problem with browser support at first hand. so solution is to use base plain js and work with that. then using ur polyfills. then using ur css really carefully alongside creating ur own css framework that will handle viewports and adapting to it. because in this days the nonresponsive pages arent acceptable.
Now when your boss gives you 2/3 weeks to create webpage/app please tell me how you gonna do all from scratch.. -
@gnaaah if you are familiar with c# its easy to get used to double quotes for strings... because single quoutes represent chars in that language
-
@Greggergalactic im fullstack and starting to want to be backend only. or mybe some angular apps would be nice.. just no more background images kind of bullshit pls
-
use iife
-
visualcode + xdebug allows realtime debugging. on local servers ofc
-
just updated last night. when i came back from work today my wifi wasnt working ... had to google solution how to fix it. once i fixed it windows automatically updating other bullshit which took whole brandwith... i fucking love win 10 updates.
-
ye great and easy.. but the fact that it does so much without me knowing what also repels me..
-
for me its like 10h of programming and then chill and sone exercise to free my mind... for a period of time i got really burned/stressed out because my previous job required me to code/research for 13-14 h per day and i dont want that shit again because i was zombie walking
-
i hate python because of indenting. really easy to make a bug. i would recommend c# . and once you get the hang of it go to c++. mastering that will make you understand why things work the way they do and everything will start to make sense
-
Se mi je zdelo d mi ni znano

easy to start, lots of cookies out of the box. but once you try to complicate ur life a bit.. you are fucked by a 20inch dick up ur ass and you cant let go because you know 4/5 of the path was already made and you are willing to forget about the pain, thinking about simpler times being on the beach... its fine for home projects not ready for big complicated production stuff. writing an optimized db structure consist of duplicating yourself and as a guy that loves order logic and clean code that is a big australian spider in my room
-
offtopic but understanding algorithms and types of structure is a really helpful thing if you need to create a big scalable app tho. dont underestimate it. being CS major doesnt mean shit if you are willing to learn. best of luck with the job hunt tho
-
because some of us had to work in visual studio
