@wafflinggeoduck they changed the national curriculum to teach basic coding to yr7-yr9 however have a shortage of teachers who know how to code. So it varies by school rather drastically. But hey it is a start.
-
@SoulSkrix thank-you. Still needs finishing though. :/
-
Sounds like some mc server owners to me... And yeah 15EUR is about the going rate for simple stuff. You only tend to make money from the minigames...
-
@ewpratten you can read pornhubs extensive usage statistics.
-
I enjoy using it. For me it has been nothing but stable and fast and the remote projects can be rather handy alongside nice git integration. For website development I use Brackets locally then Eclipse PHP to handle remote changes as Brackets loves crashing when loading over sftp.
-
Well if it can be hard coded and the client is okay with it not being configurable it should be fine.
-
@forceQuit just to check it was disabled.

Cope with the cats unrealistic demands to attempt to please him and maybe get a promotion.

All my devices are cp-[use case] with a number at the end if I have more than one system performing the same action.
My old computer was called gloria though. -
Back-end with front-end experience.

Depends on the use case. If it is a hack job scraped together in a few minutes to use once then no. If is something I plan to use again or provide to clients then yes.
By default I only comment important bits for future reference (headers on different sections). I charge a source fee to some clients whom may edit later down the line which covers time for adding comments that are more in-depth than "Chech user Key against Server Key". I keep project notes in case I have to edit the code in the future. -
Their customer service... I tried to cancel. Went through the whole process then they attempted to take payments out for the next contract cycle. They sent out a debt collector letter of which I forwarded a copy back to the customer service rep who "cancelled" my plan. Which ended up with it being forwarded to their manager who finally cancelled the plan and refunded a month.
Fuck 1&1 and their shitty service. I've moved to OVH and had no issues since. -
I say it like you say 'git' so yeah answer #1

So there may be ethernet...

Eclipse light classic theme with some plugins.
-
I liked it after using it for six months. Although I thought they dropped support months ago?
-
Yes given a few weeks and decent pay
-
Yes however the client is tight hence why I don't already have a person doing it. :/
-
Proxy?

11000 with dodgy formatting.
-
:/ Green on teal...
-
What was the latency like?
-
Never had an issue configuring Eclipse. The IDE settings are easy to change and stuff like extensions are not too hard to install within the client.
-
Well... Say I did stop time for a while. Wouldn't you be frozen in the process? Hence meaning you will not have anymore time to do said work making the action rather counter-intuitive.
We could just switch to a new calender that is behind by a few weeks/months making your deadlines further away. -
I started out with around 2 years developing small projects for fun and a few little ones that were released to the public before.
I originally started freelancing in Java before moving my entire work flow over to web development as I had fallen in love with JS. My first ever client was for a purely Java role for a few little projects. The client bought out a small company of a few developers purely for their code and to remove some competition.
When I left one of the developers recommended me to another company for a Java role which grew over time due to repeat trade into their full website allowing me to build a small portfolio.
My client stream tends to have a reliable peaks and troughs around certain periods of the year where the companies I work with want minor changes made to meet some event or another or it is time for a complete re-design.
I made enough to do what I wanted and pay any expenses I occurred however that was about it. -
Umm... Yeah. 8...

Using Vim on the train is great. Low power consumption and looks great. Especially when the terminal is in full screen!
