@mrmr from at least two colleagues i hear "once installed you never change or update" i get some sort of reason in it, but on the other hand : security, stability, speed improvements

@rtfm well no its Bulgatian. More sadly we invented the Cyrillic, Russians use it and every one thinks if its Cyrillic its Russian... 😁

I hate to use a mouse and for now only gnome allowed me that freedom. Also i like to remove everything when i am working. But out of the box both mint and elementary are good looking.

Just out of curiosity why mint is better then ubuntu. I am on ubuntu gnome and love it

Always do a test deploy. If you dont have a dedicated machine use a VM. Deploy on it and test it your self. 80% of the errors will be fixed on that stage. Next ask someone to test it for you. Then deploy. But always test your self dont expect someone to catch all bugs for you.
Had cases with coworkers that where relying on the QA so much that pushed with syntax errors... -
